Can you ever stop designing?

The simple answer is no. The project can manifest in various ways, both on paper and physically. That is why we make decisions that we are comfortable at all stages of the project.

This beautiful home nestled in the magnificent hills of Rustenburg has been on paper for over 3 years with reason. The client understands this is an essential decision for their family, so everything must be considered carefully. With this comes many iterations in size, architectural language and the nature of the stand.

At OMD Studios, we understand that the architect's role is not just to design a structure and leave, but you are more than that. You are everything from the therapist all the way to the banker. Here at OMD, we believe architecture is social, and nurturing relationships is important while striking a balance between running a productive practice. At the end of the day, it is ensuring that the sandcastles in the air become concrete ideas that can be experienced by the client.
